Somehow this reminded me of a new feature that cell phones are starting to have. When you get a call, you can choose to answer it, ignore it, or ignore it but send the caller a text message telling them why you didn't answer. I wonder if you could set up your own Kibo-bot that would notice anytime someone talked about you online and send you an SMS... and in a few years, an incoming text message might actually be whispered into your ear by your headset, effectively building trackback into your scull.
