If simple kindness and acceptance were as widespread as they should be, no one would have to be so surprised when it happens.
That very two-tone pie chart (see By the Bayou) is posted to the wall in my office at the desk behind me. To its right is an empty package of Mad Croc Energy Gum, which is taped to the cadenza. Beneath both of these is a pirate ship, with Twinkie the Kid at the helm.
And by "at the desk behind me" I mean "not mine."
