What I Have This Morning
- An 11 year old dog who is vomiting blood and dehydrated. She is staying at the vet overnight for IV fluids and anti-nausea medication. They don't know what's causing it without referring her for an ultrasound. It could be a tumor, or an ulcer, or just a pancreas with an attitude problem.
- A baby who made it through over two hours at the vet without anyone deciding he was a snack.
- A big fucking headache.

Hope Dog #1 gets better soon. And hope y'all can get a rest soon. It may seem like a long way away, but let us know if there's anything we can help with this weekend.
FYI: One way to mask the smell of a sick dog is with a flambe'd toaster oven. This isn't a recommended solution, just one that we've recently discovered is quite effective.
