Chrome is a mostly acceptable alternative to Firefox.

It makes my work email look and act kind of funny, and it has a bit of a problem with selecting things - it tends to grab way more than I told it to, which is an issue if I don't notice and my next key is Back Space.

On the whole, though, I recommend trying it. I particularly like the ease of bookmarking. If, like me, you're used to using Firefox toolbars for del.icio.us and StumbleUpon, there are workarounds.

I'm not breaking up with Firefox, especially since it turns out that Firebug is at least partly to blame for some of the bizarro behavior, but I like having two flavors to choose from.
